This purpose lecture will be a bit different from previous ones, it will be a Q&A by two students from HZ University of Applied Sciences: Ugne and Anita.
“We are Ugne and Anita. We came across the topic of sustainable banking, so we went on an exciting journey to explore its impact. We had no idea what dirty businesses banks are involved in, and what great value sustainable banks can have in the world. The choice of where we keep our money is very influential, but we have noticed that this is something many people do not know about, so we feel the need to spread the word. That’s why we are very happy to organize the purpose lecture on social banking together with THRIVE Institute and our special guest Hans Stegeman from Triodos Investment Management.”
Hans Stegeman is an economist with a broad experience in different research fields and management of research teams. Experience including macro-economics , financial markets, asset allocation, circular economy, sustainability etcetera. Hans works as Chief Investment Strategist at Triodos Investment Management and will share with us how they make decisions regarding investment. What is the strategy and vision behind it and how does he build on sustainable topics by doing this?
